CNN & MegaFon Worldwide (MegaFon) are giving a chance to serve their community in a meaningful way through the CNN Hero of the Year & MegaFon Dasa People Award competition. With communities across the globe needing help, more than 140 non-profit organizations are currently submitting applications. These organizations give back to their communities with innovative and sustainable programs. Their Mission Statements indicate these organizations truly embrace the idea of making the world a better place.
The 2018 CNN Hero of the Year & MegaFon Dasa People Award winners will win incredible prizes, including a trip to the CNN World Briefing in New York City, $50,000 in cash, their organization will be showcased on CNN shows worldwide including on air and online, as well as appear in print across CNN’s portfolio of properties.
